Camping at Bear Den Campground offers fun for the entire family!

400 Private wooded acres located in the beautiful Pisgah National Forest; adjacent to and entrance on The Blue Ridge Parkway.

144 Campsites for tents, pop-ups and all types of recreational vehicles.

Water, electricity, fire-rings and picnic tables at each site.

Sites with full hook-ups - pull thrus.

Modern Bath Houses; each with hot showers, coin-operated washers and dryers.

Campin Cabins - Sleeping for 4 to 6 campers

Sanitary disposal stations

Trading Post - Groceries, ice, drinks, firewood, souvenirs, camp supplies, LP Gas and modem hookup.

Lake swimming with Sand Beach - Paddle boats & canoes. (Paddle boats and canoes for rent)

Lake Fishing - No N.C. License needed.

Play areas - Well equipped: basketball, horse shoes, swings, volleyball, badminton, etc.

Recreational Building - Shuffleboard, ping-pong, square dancing and more!

Bear Den Campground is joined by the National Park Service and U.S. Forest land. This affords campers with miles of nature trails.

Pets are allowed if kept quiet, on a leash, and not left unattended.

Campground open March 1 thru Nov. 30 and the Creek Side cabins are open year round.

Campground does have a few full hook-up sites available year-round. Fully self contained RV's only. No bathhouse facilities available in winter months. Reservations required for these sites.
