We are the only campground in America that has NO sign at it's entrance! This is due to Parkway regulations. There can be no commercial signs on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Follow the directions below and look for Milepost 324.8 and the road sign that states, "BEAR DEN MOUNTAIN ROAD".
Take exit 86. Go North on Hwy. 226 to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Go North on the Blue Ridge Parkway approximately 6 miles until you see a gate that the Parkway closes during inclement weather. Turn right on Bear Den Mtn. Road follow it to Bear Den!
Going North...
From junction Hwy. 226 it is six miles to mile post 324.8 Bear Den Mtn. Road turn right to campground.
Going South...
From junction Hwy. 221 it is 5.3 miles to Bear Den Outlook (Milepost 323) travel another 1.8 miles to Bear Den Mtn. Road milepost 324.8.
